Types of Treatments
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a primary health care profession that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system (nerves, muscle, bones) and the effects of these disorders on general health, such as neck pain, headaches and migraines, arthritis, tennis elbow, concussion, sleep problems, scoliosis, postural issues, and more.
Approximately four and a half million Canadians use the services of a chiropractor each year. Doctors of Chiropractic practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counselling.
Holistic Nutrition
Holistic nutrition is the practice of rebalancing and looking at the root cause of any disease, pain, illness or discomfort in the body through food, movement and mindset.
A holistic nutritionist is taught to look at the whole body, not just the individual problem, to provide overall support. Nutritionists create programs that target the individual needs, starting with the main health concern and working to relieve any symptoms pertaining to that body system. We work one-on-one with the person to build programs that include meal plans, supplementation, mindset and movement guides. Holistic nutrition is based on education and teaching people to feel empowered in their food and lifestyle choices, and allow for them to feel healthy and happy in their body.
