Stephanie began practicing and learning about barre in her home in 2011! After taking a few classes while visiting her Aunt in Arizona and sister in Vancouver, and feeling/seeing the immediate benefits in her body and mind, she knew she needed it in her life… so she purchased The Dailey Method DVD, mixed it into her weekly workout regime, and that began her love and passion for barre.

Coming from being a competitive NCAA tennis player and overall athlete, exercise has been an important part of her everyday life for as long as she can remember. “I am so grateful for my past athletic opportunities for many reasons, but probably the greatest is the knowledge I gained throughout the years from various top coaches and personal trainers.” In turn, Steph’s knowledge and passion for barre & cycle, combined with her past knowledge and experience in athletics, is a huge part of what makes her classes unique. In addition, her 10+ years of coaching tennis has helped shape her teaching style.

Steph also has a deep love for all different types of music and props (in the barre room); so if you like a banging beat and experimenting with props, check her classes out! “My favourite part of barre class? Feeling every muscle in my body work, engage, and SHAKE during and hours after class.
