Your secret weapon for hitting the pavement!
Whether you’re running 5k, 10k or the half-marathon at this year’s Ottawa Race Weekend, we’ll make sure you get across the finish line and maybe even post your best time! Join us for our 6-week Race Weekend program that will cover everything you need from a nutritional plan to yoga classes tailored to runners.
April 15 to May 26
What’s included …
- Outdoor Group Training Run (weekly, Wednesday at 5:30pm): 60 minute mix of interval runs, tempo runs, hill workouts and long aerobic training runs led by our fitness team.
- Yoga for Runners (weekly, Thursday at 7:30pm with Genna): Yoga classes tailored to the body of a runner, ensuring you never miss a training day.
- Any WIT Class (weekly): Choose the class that fits your training needs. Whether it’s more cardio on the bike or mobility and strength in Barre, you get to decide.
- Training Guide (5km, 10km and half-marathon 6-week training guides): Not sure when to train your hardest or when to start tapering? Our training guide will ensure you’re training the right amount and at the right time. You’ll also know exactly how much cross-training and stretching you should build into your weekly routine.
- Optional Nutritional Guide (8-week): Your training is only half the battle of getting you ready for the summer. That’s why we’ve included a nutritional guide to help you eat healthy, carb load when needed and get creative with the recipes you whip up! Your nutritional guide was created in collaboration with Elizabeth Klenavic, Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
