Genna Peters

Yoga Teacher

Genna (she/her) is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher with years of yoga practice under her belt. She grew up as a competitive cheerleader and dancer and was always drawn to practices that combined flexibility and strength as a result. During university she started practicing yoga as a way to destress and reconnect with her body. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training as a way to learn more about yogic philosophy and to deepen her own personal practice, but fell in love with teaching along the way. 

After years of struggling with her body image and sense of self, Genna went through eating disorder recovery and began sharing her journey on social media. Today she is a passionate body confidence and body diversity advocate who believes in making movement accessible for all bodies. Genna teaches from a body neutral, inclusive and choice-based standpoint, allowing students to choose a practice that best aligns with their values and own personal needs.
