Our mom & baby classes are here to take care of you so you can care for your little one(s).
Join us for a 6-week series where we will:
Provide a safe & non-intimidating space for you to assess where your body is at.
Help you find and feel muscles you may have forgotten about or lost connection with.
Give back to yourself by inviting in gentle movements, deep engagement, and deep stretches.
Have fun with our little ones together!

Equipment: barre grippy socks, baby carrier and a blanket

July 9 – August 6 (5 Weeks)
Equipment: indoor running shoes and a blanket for your little one. A water bottle and toys to keep your babe happy are recommended.

What is the Mom & Baby Series?
The Mom & Baby Series is a 6-week program designed for new mothers who want a safe, fun, and effective way to become active again while including their baby.
Who is eligible to join?
This series is open to postpartum mothers (we recommend waiting until 6 weeks postpartum or when you are cleared by your doctor or pelvic floor physiotherapist to join) who want to gradually build strength and well-being while having their baby nearby.
Do I have to bring my baby?
You can, but you don’t have to. The program is designed to be done with your baby, however if you just need a class for yourself that day, come as you are. You typically “wear” or hold your baby during portions of the class (e.g. babywearing), which lets you include them in your fitness journey.
Do I have to have experience in barre or strength training to participate?
Absolutely not! These classes and the exercises chosen have been designed for postpartum mothers by mothers, so we have an idea what you have been through and where you are at. We stick to a similar class format each week so you can get to know the move. We are here to set you up for success, no matter where you are in your fitness journey.
What should I bring or wear?
- Comfortable activewear that allows movement
A baby carrier or wrap (or whatever you’re comfortable using)
Water bottle
Blanket or swaddle
Who teaches the class?
Our Mom & Baby teachers are parents, often new parents, who have a passion for supporting parents in their fitness journey. It is hard to find time for you as a new or second or third time mom, so we are here to cheer you on and help you reach your fitness goals.
Is this more of a fitness class or a support group?
While the focus is on physical activity and postpartum wellness, this is a workout class, the series also offers social connection and support among participating mothers. We love it when our mamas meet and connect outside the studio after class!
What if my baby is fussy?
They won’t be the first or the last. Babies cry and we are here for it. If you have any toys or bouncy seats you know your babe loves, bring it along! All classes can be modified based on your baby’s temperament, so come as you and your baby are that day. We are here for you.
