Meghan Johnston
Yoga & Release Teacher
Meghan (E-RYT 200, YACEP) became a yoga teacher in 2010 with the desire to bring together her passion for community-building and for creating supportive spaces that empower others to safely and compassionately explore their bodies, mind and spirits. Her classes emphasize the healing power of slowing down and tuning in to the wisdom within. She will provide you with creative tools for more embodied living, mindful reflection, and heart-centered action.
Meghan took her first barre class in the summer of 2015 and was blown away! It was the perfect combination of safe effective exercises, intelligent and thoughtful cueing and a FUN community-oriented environment! It didn’t take long for her to notice change in her body, especially improved strength. What Meghan loves most about the Dailey Method is the opportunity it provides students to learn more about their body and to cultivate a deeper mind body connection.
Her teaching is inspired by her deep passion for the therapeutics of yoga. She has completed specialized trainings on the Nervous System & Restorative Yoga; Mental Health & Wellness; Shoulder Anatomy & Dysfunction; Trauma-Informed Yoga; Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injury. Meghan regularly provides programming on Stress, Resilience & Wellness in workplace and community settings and also works with individuals privately to support them in their wellness goals.
